Job Description

Job Title:                 Project Leader (Chemical)

Department:            Chemical Cleaning Service

Project Type:           Onshore

Project Area:            Middle East

Project Location:      Saudi Arabia

Contract Type:         Permanent with 63 off days / year which can be divided into several rotations.

                               Company ensures 3 travels / year

Start date:               Immediately

Contract Period:       2 years +

Salary:                    Negotiable

Education:                

o Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering

 

Experience:             

o Chemical Cleaning related to Plant Shutdown, Maintenance and Pre-commissioning works like Scrapping, Air Blowing, Steam Blowing, Chemical Cleaning, Nitrogen Blanketing etc.

o Minimum 6 years’ experience for Master Degree or 8 years’ experience for Bachelor Degree, in Oil, Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical industry, with experience in Project execution (Pre-commissioning, Shutdown / Maintenance )

 

Key Specification:

o Administer and implement project procedures

o Supervise / manage all personnel including sub-contractors working on project site.

o Resolve technical problems associated with the project.

o Execute the job as per the project requirement within the timeframe.

 

Responsibilities:

o Adhere to Company’s Safety and Quality Policies, Rules and Regulations, as well Clients specific policies.

o Review project execution package, contract requirements, budget staff and equipment allocation, planning arrangements and proposed amendments.

o Prepare and manage resources in an effective and profitable manner.

o Review and acknowledge the budget and accept the planning for the project.

o Project planning and reporting as required.

o Evaluation and selection of vendors and sub-contractors with respect to Quality Assurance requirements.

o Implement, document and maintain a project quality system supported by the project quality manual.

o Ensure and demonstrate that materials and service conform to the specified requirements.

o Implement and maintain the requirement for the inspection and test plan.

o Collect required technical documents for the execution of the project activities as required.

o Participate and engage in quality related reviews and audits.

o Report and act on non-conformances in an effective manner at minimal cost.

o Prepare and publish final project report (Final Dossier).

o Arrange for the project or Job evaluation meeting (kick of meeting).

o Effective supervision of chemical cleaning crew at Project Site.

o Estimate and cost review and approval.

o Carry out other task as directed by CCS Section Head.
